It includes protective mechanisms to prevent overcharging and excessive discharging, which can damage the LiPo battery. For long-term storage, LiPo batteries should be kept at a 50% charge to avoid permanent damage. If not used for a while, DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries will automatically discharge to 50% to maintain optimal health. Please note that this is an "Open Box" item.
